Hi Tea Lovers,
I started Vintage TeaWorks as a project for me. I was bored with the currently available tea options and wanted to utilize my wine background to create something fresh and innovative. I would never have imagined that six years later people from all around the world would be enjoying my kitchen creations. Vintage TeaWorks is a source of great pride for me, and I am sincerely grateful for the support you all have shown over the years. My goal for 2017, is alignment. It is important that what I am always talking with folks about over tea, reflects what I am practicing in my life. Alignment professionally, spiritually, and personally.
As a part of this shift, I am beginning to focus on what matters most – family. I’ve got two little ones at home, and they aren’t getting any younger…frankly, neither am I. So, it is with some sadness, but lots of hope for the future, I am announcing the retirement of the Vintage TeaWorks brand. I say retirement because you can always stage a comeback ;-) and I’ll be up to a lot in between spending time with my family. I’ll be: (i) thinking about how I can reimagine Vintage TeaWorks for the better; (ii) working with a few new consumer brands on product launches inside and outside the tea world; and (iii) I’ll still be playing around in my tea lab coming up with what’s next.
Here is my hope….I want you to stick around and go on this new adventure with me. It won’t always be about tea, but I guarantee it will be fun! As I come up with new ideas in the lab, I’d love to share them with you…our little secret tasting club of sorts. In addition, as I help new businesses realize their dreams, I’d like to share those projects with you too. I had a lot of help along the way, and now I want to help. Oh and not to worry, I am currently in discussions with a few of my key customers to continue distribution of our original wine-inspired teas. The distribution will likely be under their labels or potentially some shared branding. I’ll keep you posted on where to find them.
So, as you can see, I am not going to hide in a corner somewhere! Lol.
Our final day is January 31, 2017.
If you’re willing to join me on this new adventure….buckle up and enjoy the ride. I’ll be writing and Instagramming (of course) the whole way. Check out my Instagram page to keep up at @brandonleeford.
I love you all and sincerely appreciate your support. Cheers to 2017 and what is to come! A new year brings new discoveries.
